VIDEO MAIL BAG

Hi guys! So I gave an update a few days ago about my visit to the doctors and how my hand had been hurting during batting practice last Saturday. I took three days off from hitting and resumed with some tee work and soft toss on Tuesday, and then again yesterday. The weird thing is I was expecting my hand to still be pretty sore, but it actually felt the best it has since I received surgery a little more than two months ago. I am really happy with how it felt and I think I will be allowed to hit in batting practice again today. We are definitely back on the right track and we will see how things go over the next few days of batting practice before I get a good feel for when I may be able to jump into some real games. Lets hope for the best.

Today I wanted to answer questions I have been receiving on my email over the last few days. I hope you guys enjoy.

  2. Hey thanks for answering. Yeah, I got the whole building momentum thing, I just figured since most major league players didn't do it it might not have been right (the best way to go about it). The punch in the face analogy did help. I might show my dad. He'd be so proud. :D

  5. That's good advice on the softball swing except that I find it harder to balance with the feet closer together after downing a 12 pack of Naty Ice...you need the wider stance to keep your balance. Plus, you might pull a hamstring with such a big stride.

When you were saying that you might be in real games soon, where are they going to start you out?
