Below is Part I of the trip. I will be putting up Part II tomorrow. I will say that I think Part II is funnier, but Part I does a good job of showing how boring sitting in a car for all those hours really can be. I hope you all enjoy.

It feels like an eternity ago, but more than five months back my girlfriend and I made a 45 hour drive across the country from Boston, Massachusetts to Peoria, Arizona for Spring Training. I'm not going to lie, it was way tougher than I imagined it would be. I probably wasn't as mentally prepared as I thought, but we made it across with my car and relationship still fully intact, so I'd consider that a victory. It took us a total of five days, spending the night in New York City, Lexington, Kentucky, Little Rock, Arkansas, and Santa Fe, New Mexico. We were able to see some beautiful parts of the country that we had never been to before. We were also able to see some parts that I hope I will never have to return to. Either way, I am happy we did it, and if I had to do it again...I'd probably fly.
